The 2nd Oriental Congress of Critical Care Medicine (OCCCM) was successfully held from July 5th to 8thin Shanghai, China. Focusing on the theme of "standardization and innovation", the congress has set up keynote speeches, lectures, case presentation competitions, guide interpretations, round table discussions and workshops, which presented great achievements in the field of critical care medicine in recent years. It further promoted the standardization and innovation of critical care medicine in infection, pediatrics, critical care management, critical care treatment, etc., and played an important role in the development of critical care medicine.
